We offer drop-off services to the Cradle Mountain Visitor Centre, ensuring you arrive in time for the 3:30pm check-in if you’re beginning the Overland Track the following day. Alternatively, we can transport you directly to your accommodation in Cradle Valley. Please note that drop-off at Waldheim Cabins is at the Visitor Centre for check-in purposes.

A stop on the wayDuring our journey to Cradle Mountain, our driver will make a 20-minute stop in Queenstown. This break allows you to enjoy a coffee, use the restroom, or take a leisurely stroll through the streets of this remarkable mining town on the West Coast of Tasmania.

Due to logistics, being no direct roads linking Lake St Clair and Cradle Mountain, resulting in a 3.5 hour drive via the West Coast and the amount of time our drivers are on the road for this service, Overland Track Transport does not offer a regular per person passenger service between the start and finish of the OT.

Once you have booked this service, the remaining seats will be available for others to book, If we have other people book onto this same service, a refund will be issued to you after the date of travel. (refund differs depending on group size)

If your group is 5 or less people then the cheaper options will be in our “Car Shuffles” page with parking your car in Launceston or we can provide transport from Lake St Clair to Cradle Mountain via Launceston with a nights stay in Launceston.
